A painting of a brain with the Holy Light of God behind done in gold leafing, floating over a sea of a black inky liquid.
“Here is the third glove painting. I feel that it has evolved from the first two in that the face has changed, the background is a wood board, and the glove is in the reverse direction of the first two. I think that it is really the next step, a true metamorphosis of the treatment of the subject and the medium. This series, this last one in particular, have been become almost prophetic given the current climate of the world. The pandemic has given these pieces an un-intentional call back to the world we live in currently with the wide spread fear of the COVID-19 virus. The gloves now become very medical in feeling and act as an omen of death and disease. Set even more unsettling by the distorted and harrowing faces painted on the gloves. True works of art, and masterpieces of their time.” - Harold G. Love, art reviewer for the Chicago Fake Times

Two small works on roof slate. These irises were snapped in Florence, Italy at the Giardino dell Iris next to Piazzale Michelangelo.
This is the second glove painting inspired by Handy Hands! I hope y’all like it!
The third and final of the various liquid paintings I have been doing. It has admittedly taken me longer to get them all out, but here we are! The final painting is of cream on a solid black background.
A new series of screen prints! These have been in the works for the past few weeks, but now they are all finally finished! NO HEROS is a print series inspired by the same phrase which is uttered by many at my place of work. It is basically used as a way to say “Hey champ, no need to do that by your own”. There’s no need not to ask for help, especially if you’re moving around a heavy crate, sculpture, or multi-million dollar piece of art.
The series is made up of 50 total prints with each color having a different edition count; 10 Red, Blue, and Yellow, 5 Gold and Lilac prints, and 10 Artist Proofs. I hope y’all like’em!

This painting is the second of three in which I am looking at how liquids interact with various colored backgrounds. This painting is of fake blood on a white background. Some blue is visible as the panel used to have a blue background…reuse, reduce, recycle kids!
This painting was done as a study for a future painting, but I decided to draw it out into a more finished product.
This painting is one of three (two have yet to be made, but they will be done [hopefully soonish…]) depicting a liquid on a solid background. In this case an ink droplet on a solid red background.
Finished back in August, this piece entitled And That’s How We Play Handy Hands! was inspired by the line of the same dialogue from Rick and Morty Season 1 Episode 7; Raising Gazorpazorp.
A painting done on slate provided by the kind folks over at Ocean Alliance in Gloucester, MA. They can be found near the Rocky Neck Artist Colony.
